Biography:
Julie Armendariz was born in the early 1960's and raised in Manhattan Kansas. She studied Fine Arts at Kansas State University for two years. After marrying, she moved to New Mexico and then Oregon, where she currently resides with her family in Aloha. Since early childhood art has always been a passion in Julie's heart. Although life circumstances kept her from creating art for many years, her love for art has always remained. Because of her renewed walk with Jesus Christ, that passion has now started a new chapter of life.

Mission:
My mission as an Artist is to express the wonder of God, the beauty of His creation, and the heart of His love. Although no expression of art could convey God in all His Sovereignty, it is my prayer that my work will inspire and encourage those who know Him... and those who have yet to meet Him.
Statement:
From my earliest childhood memories I have always loved nature. Its vastness and beauty have never ceased to intrigue me. Creation is Gods canvas- the signature of His hand. In nature I find one of the purist forms of worship before God: creation simply is what it was created to be in the presence of its Creator.

An eagle soaring, lifted by invisible pockets of air within the wind.
Although my art will never match Gods signature, for me it is truly a form of worship before God. As I create it, I can't help but to believe that God smiles. As He watches me simply being what He created me to be: His Artist at Heart.

I would like to take a moment to say thank you to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am truly a blank canvas without God. Thank you, Jesus, for always being the Master Artist at work in me.
